The Christie’s London to Paris Live Stream
Karma were asked by our friends at Christie’s in London to conduct the 20th Century London to Paris live stream to both Christie’s website and YouTube this autumn. We have worked closely with Christie’s on many projects in the past however the aforementioned live stream had a twist.
The difference to this stream compared to others which we have facilitated for the world renowned auction house is that not only were we conducting a live cut from our production set up in London, which consisted of six cameras with a jimmy jib, but also integrating this with a live feed coming in from Paris to create the master cut. All in perfect synchronisaton.
With Remote cameras in the auction room, technical crew all following COVID-19 rules and with only select buyers being allowed in the room, made this another safe high quality broadcast.
The whole event was a total success with the most notable sale being the Portrait of Sir David Webster by David Hockney which you could well have seen making headlines in the news.
